Global, Inc. performed a lead-based paint inspection of the exterior doors and windows of the Takoma Park Neighborhood Library through XRF measurements and paint chip sampling. Global’s DC-certified lead risk assessor collected pre-abatement dust wipe samples and soil samples to establish baseline levels of lead.

We provided lead based paint abatement oversight and air sampling (i.e., environmental and personal samples) during the abatement of the lead based paint. Our lead risk assessor conducted a final visual inspection, clearance wipe sampling and post abatement soil sampling in bare soil areas around the library. A detailed report including the laboratory analytical results, a CADD drawing with sample locations, and relevant photographs was compiled and submitted to the client.
